Who: For children who will be 3 years old on or before September 1st, and children up to 5 years old who are not yet attending kindergarten.
Purpose: To assess your child's speech, language, and academic development.
Each year we welcome preschool children to Henry School. The Early Childhood Screening is provided by Northeast Educational Cooperative and Henry School. It is free and available to all children interested in attending the Henry School District.
If your child will be attending preschool or kindergarten in 2025-2026, please bring a copy of your child's official birth certificate. Preschool personnel will be available to answer questions and sign up for Henry's preschool program. Henry currently offers 4 day, all day preschool for 4-and-5-year-olds free of charge
The screen and evaluation program gives you an opportunity to find out more about your young child and his/her development. Screening for children from birth to age 3 are available upon request.
