Glacial Lakes SAFE, in partnership with the Helpline Center, welcomes friends from all surrounding communities to a special event. Join the event in Watertown.
Sometimes one story can change the way you see the world. Meet Emma Benoit in person - a survivor who turned her own pain into purpose and is inspiring people everywhere. Hear her inspiring story, and learn how suicide affects individuals, families, and communities — and how we can help prevent it.
Event Details:
Join us Tuesday, November 18th at 6:30 p.m. at DD Miller Auditorium for My Ascension — a powerful documentary about hope, healing, and finding strength. The film shares Emma's story and the stories of two young people who tragically did not survive their attempts. Hear first-hand from their families, friends, school officials and suicide prevention experts about the devastating effects of suicide and how we can help to prevent it.
Come be part of the conversation and help spread hope on November 18th, 6:30 p.m. at DD Miller Auditorium in Watertown, 200 9th ST NE (Watertown High School). This event is free, open to everyone, and even includes on-site child care.
